More About the Affiliate Program
If you join our affiliate program and a visitor from your site buys tickets from us on the Internet you will be given commission on that sale. The commission is 40% of the profit.
(Competition for ticket sales in Orlando is VERY fierce, this keeps prices down and depresses profit margins. There are affiliate programs on the Internet offering 50% of the purchase price for items like computer hardware and electronic goods. Those sales have huge profit margins (often 300-500%) and the site owners can afford to be generous! In real terms they offer affiliates far less than 40% of the profit but it can seem like more.
I am trying to be up front here by pointing out from the start that this is not a "get rich quick" industry.
Is it worth the effort?
You betcha! We have affiliates earning a tidy sum each month. It probably doesn't pay the mortgage but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick (one of my mum's little sayings!)
Who can join?
We are pretty choosy about our affiliates. Most people will come to this page because they had a personal invitation from me, I am always on the look out for high quality, relevant web sites to join us. If you have a web site that is vacation related, about Disney World or Florida in general then you could be eligible to join.
We are NOT interested in poor quality web sites, or sites that have nothing to do with Orlando vacations. I don't want to be one more link on a gamboling web site!
We are keen for this to be a beneficial partnership - we want you to make money and we want to get visitors from you who are genuinely interested in our product. The best way for us to do this is to only have affiliates with related web sites.
How does it work?
When you join we give you a unique link to travel-affiliates.com
You can put the link anywhere you like on your site - as many times as you like. When a visitor at your site clicks on the link to us they will be tracked with a cookie. If that visitor goes on to buy tickets from us our shopping cart software will read the cookie and know that the customer came from you. The affiliate system links into the shopping cart and sends you a commission notification and the order number of the sale.
